• Emergency Door Release - Kason inside release handles can prevent entrapment inside coolers, freezers and other walk-in units when used with the appropriate Kason latches. If trapped inside a freezer or cooler, gently push the inside release handle rod to initiate the door latch and push open the door.
• Visible in the Dark - With a knob that glows in the dark, the release handle stays visible even recessed in the cup, ensuring easy identification and operation even in low-light conditions, providing added convenience and safety.
• Mounting - Holes drilled for No. 10 (5.0 mm) screws (Screws are not included). Minimum door thickness of 3-1/4" (82.6 mm) required for this inside release model. If length of rod exceeds door thickness, use proper tools to trim to desired length.
• Wide Application - 0489 Narrow recessed handle push rod is used for KASON 58, 77, 78, 778 series walk-in cooler/freezer door latches. Groove design of cup can avoid knob from accidentally hit.
